Just a Little Retail Therapy

Greetings Fashionistas and Happy Friday,

So I started a new term at school and I have a total of 3 classes but two are clearly going to kick my butt. I'm taking Draping I and Pattern Drafting I. They both require a basic sewing skill set that I'm afraid I don't possess. My first 2 sewing classes were not helpful at all. The teachers were trying to give us a lot of work in a short amount of time. Note to universities, that's probably not the best way to keep your students motivated or prepare them with good quality skills.

Anyhew, my current teachers are really good and I know that I will learn a lot this term but they are also extremely demanding. I know that's the real world but goodness, do I feel the pressure already and it's only week one :-(

Well, not to feel down and out for long, I did a little online shopping yesterday and purchased the following items:
