Fall 2009 Women RTW Shows - Part I

Greetings Fashion Followers,

Hope you all had a good weekend. I want to do a recap of the Fall '09 ready-to-wear shows that are happening in NYC this week (actually started last week). With starting school and taking on new projects at work I could not make it this time....sigh. Anyhew, I'm going to recap my favs below and I'll post more in the upcoming days.

Preen

Gorgeous cutouts, unstructured outwear, and mini creations are what was seen at Preen's Fall '09 RTW show. Loves it!
BCBG Max Azria
The gold lame' leggings were the perfect compliment to BCBG's designs. Billowy satins, flowy chiffons, and ornately designed sweaters looked fab on their runway.
Herve' Leger

Prominent shoulders, mixed fabrics, and his signature bandage style were among my favs at Herve' Leger.
Jason Wu

After designing Michelle Obama's Inauguration Ball gown, this young designer showed that he had a lot more creative designs up his sleeve...and this line did not disappoint. I loved the pops of color, mix of patterns, and use of fabric. Marvelous!

TTFN!
