Fashion Fab vs Fashion Faux Pas

Greetings Fashion Friends,

The celebrities were very visible this week due to various events and the start of the awards season. There were a lot of hits on the red carpet and conversely, a lot of misses. Let's take a look.

Fashion Fab

Ciara attends the premiere of “Notorious” at the AMC Lincoln Square on January 7, 2009 in New York City

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon attends the 8th Annual Awards Season Diamond Fashion Show Preview hosted by InStyle Magazine in Beverly Hills, California.

Taraji P. Henson arrives at the Critic’s Choice awards in LA

Jennie Garth arrives at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 7, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

Host Queen Latifah arrives at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 7, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.

Carrie Underwood attends the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards

Dakota Fanning arrives at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards
Very age appropriate attire. Love the color.
Fashion Faux Pas
Beyonce Knowles attends the premiere of “Notorious” and the after-party in NY
This dress is ill-cut and the draping appears restricting. Not the best color choice either.
Christina Milian leaving Hollywood’s Echo Bar
Christina has never been on my faux pas list but those horrid boots, silk chemise, and limp hair (hair is a major part of the ensemble) landed her here.
Lil Mama attends the premiere of “Notorious” at the AMC Lincoln Square on January 7, 2009 in New York City
Yeah...ummm, is that a full jumper with a fur-lined vest over it??? I'm baffled.
Paris Hilton arrives at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on January 7, 2009 in Los Angeles
Those shoes alone make this entire outfit look like Mrs Daffy Duck. I wonder why she never wears a peep toe or sandal? Anyhew, the dress is not age appropriate as, except for the deep v, it would work best at a prom or other high school dance.
That's all folks, until we meet again!
TTFN!
